About the Internship:

Microdeft invites applications for an exciting internship opportunity focused on React and Next.js development. This position is ideal for those with a keen interest in modern web technologies and a desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Interns will gain hands-on experience in building and optimizing web applications, while also learning about best practices in front-end development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Implement responsive UI components from design mockups.
• Use state management techniques to manage application state across complex projects.
• Consume RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
• Employ version control tools to manage project updates and collaborate with team members.
• Engage in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings, and contribute to project planning and documentation.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features, closures, asynchronous programming, and DOM manipulation.
• Strong experience with React.js, including components, props, state management, hooks, and context API.
• Familiarity with the Next.js framework, including SSR, SSG, pages, routing, data fetching, and API routes.
• Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3, responsive design, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Proficient in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using Axios or Fetch API in React.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and ability to implement responsive web designs.

Additional Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory):

• Experience in backend development, particularly with Express.js and MongoDB.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
